Trying to use PS3 Controller on PC

So I am having troubles using my ps3 controller on pc and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have motioninjoy downloaded and all and got in game to get the controller to work, but when i go to controller config it shows im using an xbox controller yet I already went through and set the layout to x,circle, square, and triangle and rebooted the game. After that occurred I logged back in and it still show the controller layout is xbox controller yet the buttons are ps3 and my right analog stick will not move the camera yet i can move with the left analog stick and when i press circle it says im pressing triangle and when i press triangle shows im pressing square and square is circle and x is x lol so if anyone can plz help me i would greatly appreciate it

i never ever will ever use motioninjoy ever again with its "NEED TO ONLINE" thinga maginga....


try searching scarlet crush ds3.

i've been using it flawlessly.

you need to uninstall the MotionInJoy, restart first before attempting to install Scarlett Crush DS3.

k well like when i log in game would i need to do anything in settings wise to fix everything or will i be able to log in and its good to go?

once ur install, just flip the layout from xbox 360 to ps3 layout, the controller will still say its xbox360, but no fret the layout will be completely like a PS3 controller as it should be.

k and all the controls will work properly lol so i shouldnt have problems like i had with motioninjoy when i log in xD

I'm pretty sure that's because you have motioninjoy set to 360 emulator.

most probably the reason, so i just direct him to a more better program that also doesnt need to be constant online with having ads in its client. ScarletCrushDS3 :3 much lightweight and better config without any real config.. xD

k thnx man everything is good except i cant get any button to target something lol says x is set to target but i walk up to an npc or monster and nothing lol and tried to go to keybinds and under gamepad but wont let me set anything acts as if i dont have a controller set up

and its still showing a mouse arrow lol getting on my nerves anyway of getting that off xD

for that, please go to character configuration switch to controller settings, in that window has all the configs etc.

that is for the mouse to disappear but will not totlally disaperr if u use mouse anyway.

2nd is the system settings > controller > controller calibration and button calibration, do so.
