I like this idea but I have no idea about weather or not it was a past topic for discussion. So yes! good idea.

Though it is a bit futuristic, put aside the aesthetics from the cheesy, retro robot voice and replace it with a ffxiv texture/magitek-ish feeling instead, then I'd like to see something that functions like the gunblade that Alphas uses in the anime/manga Zetman.

but in many FF world....nothing is futuristic
in time of sword and spell but got robot enemy,space ship
