    Please expand the macro syntax

There just isn't much choice for macros for controllers. Like <mo> is useless for controller players.

I'd like to see some of the ffxi commands come over
<stpt> (select target party member) as a main example.
Also /item would be nice, E.G /item "Potion" <me> items are difficult to use as they take up a hotbar spot, would be nice if we could just make them a macro to go along with other commands.

As it stands I have hardly any macros on my hotbar and I've tried so many things I thought would work from macros I had on ffxi. Would be nice to see some of these commands brought over to this game.

I wish for the PS3 and PS4 you could use some kind of controll to use the cursor to act like mouse over for healing. I have gotten really good at using the party list but it makes me take my eyes off the battle sometimes.

<stpt> was not in there anywhere, the closest thing I saw was /targetpc, which isn't the same.

<stpt> would be used in a way like this: /ac "Cover" <stpt>

When using the macro a subtarget would appear and filter everything except party members so you could search through your party for someone to use it on without taking your target off your current target or changing your target filters.

You can already do that on a controller without using a macro. While you have an enemy targeted, you can use the up or down arrow on the directional pad to scroll through the party list until you reach the player you want to cover, without hitting the X button use your cover ability, and your focus will shift back to the enemy you had targeted in the first place.

My bad, you right I guess when/if they add that command they should add <stal> as well.

idk but for controller there isnt a need... to have a precise placeholder since just tabbing up and down is already suffician in any content i've done.

I wouldn't mind them expanding on macros. I loved macros in FFXI. But first I think they need to fix some glaring bugs with their macro system. Right now I find them mostly unusable do to line skipping issues.

I just wish they'd make Macro's queue like normal abilities. With a normal ability, you can press the button right before the GCD ends from the previous ability and it will queue and then activate once the previous GCD is over. With Macros, you have to wait until the previous GCD is completely over with and then hammer the macro several times to activate it.

I'd be interested in seeing <wait> again. With 15 macro spaces, imagine the possibility for crafters
