I notice a performance bug with the settings "use low-detail models on distant objects (LOD)".

In certain situations, with this option on, the client experiences framerate drops while the camera pans over a scene. Keeping the camera still, the fps will climb back up to 60fps. Its as if the rendering stopped to load something, then takes awhile to climb its way back up.

When this occurs, CPU, GPU and IO performances are not at 100% (no bottleneck).

I experience this on a system with:
CPU: i7-4770K
GPU: 770GTX
IO: Samsung 840 PRO SSD

The FF14 client has improved greatly in terms of performance since the launch of 2.0 (when there were quite a few fps drop problems). Is this problem with LOD currently known and being worked on?

Thank you for your continued commitment to quality .
