Item Choices From Grand Company Vendors

So I went with Immortal Flames, I only have 1 rank 50 and it is Lancer, and of course you can only by GLD and ARC arms. I haven't become a recruit of the other two sides but I assume one of them will sell a lance.

I know I can probably get the lance easily but what I'm wondering is will more reward choices be added to the companies? will I ever be able to purchase Lancer gear from the Hall of Flames or am I pigeon holed into joining a company I dont want to?

A rep response would be greatly appreciated.

I would have though the Twin Adder's would have had some Lancer gear considering the Lancer guild is in the same city? Also one of the reasons I started in Gridania. Kind of weird that LL has lancer gear when the lore for LL doesn't really support it.

My guess is there will be some balancing and additional items being added to guilds (among other things too) over the next few weeks.

It's the same concern i pointed out in my topic on reward, but has been ignored :|| actually lances are sold inn the maelstrom, aka limsa lominsa. Also thm's arms are selled there, with marauder

yes, the major concern of this topic is if people are going to have to choose their company according to gear types or company preference.

I'm kinda hoping they make it like the 3 nation's allied notes system in XI where you can still get items from other nations, just at a marked up price. But since they're using 3 separate types of credits and the companies don't seem to like each other much in the story, I have a feeling it won't happen unless they redo the credits system.

Yeah it doesn't make much sense to me that they seem to be forcing some folks to choose what Company to join by making certain weapons exclusive it seems. I can only hope they will eventually offer all the types of weapons for each Company, just have them be different visually and name-wise.
