btw, I hadn't unlocked the leves in Blue Fog so I went to test .. it doesn't let me abandon either the 'parent' or the leve itself. It may have allowed it before some of the patches .. not sure. But it definitely looks like you are in a bugged state now - there is no way to duplicate the issue if the system is working properly. No idea what to do beyond what you done in reporting it to support.
I'm guessing the specific situation is rare enough that it hasn't been directly addressed. It needs an update to your specific account.
