

And yet people do it all the time. Including me.This is completely against the design of the armory system where you can play any class at any time. There is no logical reason for one class to be less effective than another even if they do share the same base class. As I main scholar, I do not even bother to switch to SMN and it only gets gear because I play my BLM on occasion. It is pretty much a dead class to be because of the stat sharing. While the argument can be made that it does not make the class "unplayable" 30 int is a good bit to be missing or 30 mind if you go the other way.I personally would not feel comfortable playing in challenging content ( extreme modes or coil t4-5) at such a disadvantage because I like to play my characters to the best of their abilities. It is unsettling that this will rear it's ugly head more often when new classes are introduced further limiting what is beneficial to play based on your choices.
