Learn to farm Grand Company seals, then you can swap your stats anytime you want, sometimes in these games it takes a little more work if you want to min/max 100% of the time, the system isn't keeping you from doing, you not wanting to do the work is doing it.

its not an issue people, i bet if all classes got their second job from the start, half of you wouldnt be complaining.

I don't know about you but i can equip my SMN soulstone just fine even though SCH is my main. How is it against the armory system?

I'm more inclined to believe this was just lazy programming but this isn't really an issue for me anyway. 30 points won't make or break a fight for me.

When you break it down: Not sticking to the way XI (and every other FF game) did the job system is lazy honestly.

Solution is what i plan to do once my SCH is fully kitted out, dump all 30 points into INT, and not worry about that extra lil bit of healing power.

No, it doesn't prevent you from playing SCH and SMN, just min/maxing it. Personally, I like having the 15/15 split on SCH/SMN.

This is what I do now that my Summoner has her relic and is playable for high end content. My Scholar is still higher, but sometimes we got our healers.

It's really not a big deal. Go 30 INT so your SMN has maximum DPS potential. Healers are a lot less dependent on stats and are much more dependent on skill and playing properly. 30 Mind will not stop you from healing Twintania.

Wrong, the Armory system is working as intended, you can still switch classes at any time.

SMH and SCH are JOBS, not classes.

go 15/15 and call it a day. The difference isn't going to be noticable. Or even better go 10/10/10 (vit). A dead smn does a lot less dps than a live one. and a dead sch doesn't heal.
