I want to end game SCH and SMN but I cant!

if you think SMN and SCH share equipment you don't know much about the game, my SCH shares equipment with my WHM, my SMN shares equipment with my BLM.

and you can't reset attribute points any time, 10k Company Seals doesn't drop out of thin air. if it's actually free to reset, it would be annoying but then it wouldn't be an actual problem. you know all they really need to do is make that item cost 100 seals instead of 10000. it's stupid that it costs so much since people who play other jobs would never buy it more than once anyway.

If you think getting 10k seals is hard, you don't know much about the game, having them cost 100 would just be worthless, you get over 200 just by doing a 5 minute guildhest in duty roulette, if you want to play both jobs, either get used to not resetting your stats, or spend a little time learning how to farm seals.

i don't have to farm seals to change from PLD to BLM to SCH, why should i have to farm seals to change from SCH to SMN.

and that was the point, the cost to change should be so low that it doesn't matter, because that item doesn't matter to anyone who is not an Arcanist that likes both jobs which is a tiny percentage of the population.

i know how to farm seals, i just don't. i rather help people with stuff that actually matters.

You don't have to farm seals to swap from scholar to summoner, only to reset your attribute points on your ARCANIST, get it, the points are tied to your class not job, http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/game/

I really wish FFXIV's mods were more oppressive. At least we wouldn't have to listen to this type of pointless drivel.

You. Are not. Supposed to play them both. You're supposed to be able to switch CLASSES at a whim, not JOBS.

maybe because nobody plays classes at Lv 50, how many times have you seen a request for a Gladiator in Party Finder? they killed the Class System with Jobs, they just failed to do it properly with this one. Classes end at 30, that's why there are no Class quests at Lv 50.

if you switch classes on a whim so often, how many Class equipment sets do you have saved? i have none all of my equipment sets are Job sets.

You can always grab the item from your GC that lets you re-allocate stats. Yeah it's 10,000 seals but you can switch optimizations every now and then.

Just go 15/15 and play both to 95% effectiveness.

Stat allocation probably shouldn't even be in the game with how one dimensional it is. There's not even illusions of choice, just a 'right' stat for each job. So just bake that into the default stats.

I would like a fix, I do not care if I have to lvl a summoner again. if I can min max its all I want. Content is so easy we are "$EIin@" every end game content and when you 6/7 man ex and t5 every little bit counts.

they stated that they didnt intend to change it, they did not say NEVER once. not ever. for all we know they may change it so we can do stat bonuses to the soul gems instead of the classes. saying never really is just asking to eat your words later. not to mention they might decide later to add some class to split SCH and SMN. while it isnt likely, we dont know that they won't
