If SE decides to add NPCs that are certain class not in the game yet but will be later in the future of FF14ARR contents how will you react.

Will you flip tables because they confirmed the release of these classes by release NPCs that are these new class but say "Nope you can't play as these classes yet until X.X Major Update or X Expansion but here are some NPCs that are these new upcoming classes"?

For example, if in 2.4 Main Story they have you fighting along side a Scout NPC( class that goes into Ninja/Thief) who is a new major character being a veteran member of the Scions we have not meet before and this NPC happens to using a certain amount of Scout skills because he or she is a Scout class. However, you can't access Scout class yet because it is, assuming, planned for 1st expansion which is most likely released after 2.5.

Or

They have you meet and fight along side a Melee Mage class NPC who use skills from the Melee Mage class during the Main Story of 2.5 as their way to tease about the release of a Melee Mage class in 1st expansion while having this new NPC as a minor or major character we will meet again in 1st expansion storyline.

(Remember this is a "IF" question.)

Ya I notice that.

If Musketeer class auto-attack is going to be like how Cid use his Musket to smack people around Musketeer maybe either a Mid-range combat class or a caster combat type class.

Either way that could also be simply a placeholder for what they actually have planned.

I also notice he does a few gun smack skills aith his auto-attack as well but it could just be my imagination

SE can be Evil and release a new area through one of the Major Update and place the Dark Knight Job trainer there. Leaving only lore set up for that Job while saying "Nope! You can get Dark Knight yet because it is part of 1st expansion".

I'm talking about what is outside of what already been confirmed.

We have known about Musketeer since 1.0 but it still remains in SE hands when they decide to push the release button or introduce more of the musketeer mechanics through NPCs.

there are also types of goblins that may as well be red mages
