IMO, it wasn't offensive. The macro varied simply from kiss to punch to kill and flipping off. But due to the populations age..this is considered inappropriate, so I'm just going to have to accept this and move on.Was it in any way offensive? I can't see how you got BANNED for a silly emote unless it included either racism, excessive profanity or explicit Ascii art.
I miss my old middle fingers macro I had in XI now that I think about it, rofl. Ah well. They seem to be way more sensitive about that sorta thing now though so gotta be careful what you say/do.
Just wanted to know when my ban will be lifted
Flipping someone off is against the ToS that you agreed to when you signed up for the game. If you want to break them, you have to pay the price. My suggestion is that if you want to flip your friends off, do it in private where no one else has to see it. You can complain all you want about it not being offensive, but the fact of the matter is, that someone WAS offended by it, else you would not have been reported. FYI, flipping the bird is the same as saying "go F**k yourself". In case you were unaware. And the killing part isn't exactly all that appropriate either. Deserved punishment is deserved.
There is a world of difference between kissing someone and telling them to go f'k themselves. And yes, that behavior is considered to be harassment, not just in this game BUT FREAKING EVERYWHERE, genius. In case you were unaware, sexual gestures are considered to be sexual harassment, even if they are not directed at the person who feels harassed by them. I have fired people for less under company sexual harassment guidelines. This isn't the 1800's where everything is repressed. Sexual gestures includes kissing, a sociable accepted way of displaying affection.
But that's not what I got banned for, I got banned for harassment. Wheres the harassment when it was a mutual and used as a joke to enjoy the game?

Sure next time if I happen to pass somebody that is supposedly "having fun" with another person and has nothing to do with me but I find offensive, I'd be sure to report them.

So long as they are making sexually explicit gestures, or something else that is offensive and against the ToS, you would be justified in doing so. Otherwise, you'd get another ban for griefing. Seriously, do I REALLY have to spell this out for you? Are you REALLY this dumb? Offensive is offensive. Period. No matter that you are just having fun with friends. If others are around, and your having fun with friends is making them at all uncomfortable, it is called harassment. Save things like offensive gestures for PRIVATE times if you don't want to be reported for them. In other news, the sky is blue, water is wet, and 1+1=2.

You should look up the term 'harassment'. It doesn't fit the definition you have in your mind.So long as they are making sexually explicit gestures, or something else that is offensive and against the ToS, you would be justified in doing so. Otherwise, you'd get another ban for griefing. Seriously, do I REALLY have to spell this out for you? Are you REALLY this dumb? Offensive is offensive. Period. Also, your manner is quite fowl. No need to talk to people that way.
Here is the definition for people to view.
-Harassment-
The act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands.
If the emotes were being repeated, like spam, people would report the op and it would probably fit this definition. I have seen people suspended for spamming /slap on a friend. They also were reported and suspended for harassment even though the friend being slapped had no issue with it.
Ironically by calling me dumb, you have violated TOS and I find that very offensive. Period. Reported.
But on a serious note, your tone isn't helping anyone.
