    To the OP, I don't agree with getting banned for an emote that was really just in fun.. however it doesn't surprise me in the slightest. This is the company who didn't want to give everyone the chance to lay down outside of FC housing because people might use it in an inappropriate way, and won't let us whisper in dungeons because they're afraid we'll harass others. Hopefully your ban is over soon, and you'll be more careful going forward in public places.

    Well that seems like a slight over-reaction on the responding GM's part. You think they would have at least given you some kind of warning first.

    Assuming that's really why the ban was dropped on you, it's pretty much why I hate the community in this game now. Everyone reports people for everything.

    I always found this kind of thing pathetic. Like people in WoW who say "reported for reporting". Not only is it not productive, it then adds work to overworked GMs who also need to fix actual problems. If you are not reporting actual things that cause issues, you have zero reason to complain when it takes a long time to get a GM to help you when you really need one. Boy who cried wolf anyone?

    OP, Doesn't matter if you didn't find it worth reporting, someone did, and the GM agreed that you broke the rules. Some people think botting doesn't affect anyone, and shouldn't be ban worthy, but most and the gms agree it's worth a ban. If you didn't actually do anything bad, you wouldn't have gotten banned from just being reported. Learn from it, don't do it again.
