I'd certainly like to have an option for the better character models from 1.0, as well as the clothing textures and the weighted animations.



I'll wait for the dx11 version of this version before I decide whether or not I want 1.0 graphics back.

Except dx11 wont change the actual graphics at all, it's already been said.

I miss the visuals, but I like the variation in the environment. Needs more open expanses and non instanced 'dungeon' settings though. Also, more reason to exist.
I miss the open world having a sense of purpose and place, I also miss the monster AI we used to have.



Nope, don't miss the exquisitely detailed five scenes repeated ad infinatum. I will take a slightly downgraded texture with unique looking areas over the infection of "rose-colored glasess" syndrome any day.
So many people with Stockholm syndrome in this thread, actually defending copy pasted environments and lazy field design
I think 2.0's environments are without a doubt designed better, but yeah, 1.0's graphics engine was more beautiful. Like, there's a VERY noticeable difference comparing screenshots of my DRG AF1 in 1.0 and 2.0.
