Another "Returning to FFXIV" Thread

Hello all the names Novokit and I'm going to get straight to the point and inform you readers what I'm looking for. Was playing with friends and a cool FC but both of which are gone once I logged in this week. Since I'm going solo and I don't really know that much about the game as I've only gotten to Lv.23 Arcanist and beat Ifirit I've decided to simply re-roll on a new server.

Now I've been reading about legacy and non legacy servers, seems legacy players are quite far and not really much new people where the non-L servers are the opposite. I'm lookin' for any server to call home just one that the community heard or know is a great place to be and have fun. So, simply lookin' for a new home that I can support on and have fun as I'll be mainly playing a healer class.

Heard good things about Hyperion & Balmun (Legacy) & Cactuar (Non-L) but would like to hear from community first. Appreciate any help, ty in advance.

You could always check the server specific boards here for those servers and see the FCs recruitment threads and choose one you like. If you are sociable, wherever you go, you'll make friends.

I play on Cactuar and love it. The server has a nice spread of casual and hardcore free companies depending on what you are looking for. The community is friendly and helpful for the most part....bad apples everywhere and all that. Most importantl to me the population is strong and active. There is always a decent amount of party finder groups posted and people out in the world.

Leviathan is a very friendly and busy server.
Our FC is very new player friendly as well if you ever decide to come on that server

I would definitely choose Leviathan, I saw plenty of low level characters around and I'm level 24 now.

Second on checking the server specific boards. Otherwise, there were a ton of new players on Malboro about 2 weeks ago. I haven't checked recently.

I'm on leviathan and it seems that there are a lot of new people just playing now for whatever reason and even more after the ps4 gets released... The good thing is the way that they have set up the roulette's and party finder it is really easy to get people to help you out with anything that you need for progression, with or without a fc...

I agree. I recently made an alt class to get another coil lockout and the roulette system has been fantastic. I can always find groups for any dungeon or trial as I level that character up. It is even a mix between fresh players, players leveling other jobs, and high level players just doing their daily. The people are friendly or at most silent and it has been a good time. Regardless what server you choose it should be easy to level up and find people to run dungeons and trials with. Finding people still doing FATES... not as easy at least on Cactuar.
