If that armour appears in FFXIV, I would assume it would be for the Dancer job.

If Red Mage ever comes about, this is their fabulous look!

I hope that if it comes out we don't get a ff11 version of it. The hat was the only redeeming factor of that look, the rest would look much better in a different style.
If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

Bah... Disregard; completely misremembered which class was which.

As much as I enjoyed red mage in xi I just don't see how they'd implement it conceptually with the systems and roles they have in place now. Do you make it a healer? or a dps. There is no support role really in XI because every class has buffs or debuffs that benefit the party. Unless they re-balance every dungeon to 5 mans and include a support role (which would be silly and a huge waste of effort I think) It wouldn't work. What would Red Mage bring to the table that another job wouldn't? What would it do better? The job system in XIV is designed around specialization... which is the opposite of what Red Mage is about.
Don't get me wrong, I think it would be fun to have... I just don't see how it would actually work without reworking large amounts of the game to incorporate it... and I'd much rather the dev's concentrate their energy and time on other things.
Edit: Oh yeah! forgot to answer the OP's question. Those outfits look like dancer af and are horribly ugly. That outfit makes me think "kill it with fire"

iirc, SE already stated that the possibility of a support class had been considered (and either change 4-men dungeons to 5-men or changing the group from 2 dps to 1 dps/1 support OR 2 dps)As much as I enjoyed red mage in xi I just don't see how they'd implement it conceptually with the systems and roles they have in place now. There is already a plan for a Melee Mage to go into DoM section of classes as a future class.
It most likely will fall into DPS or Tank role but chances are it will fall into DPS role for this Melee Mage class they have planned.
They could have Mystic Knight as the Tank Role Job since each class will be getting 2 Jobs and Mystic Knight has a stronger history as a Melee Mage type Tank Job.
Most likely we will have to wait for 1st expansion since Ishgard would be a good place to have a Melee Mage class guild and proper story for class quest involving Melee Mage class as a art originally limited to Ishgard Nobles until their Guild opened to Adventurers in the 1st expansion time frame lore wise.
