you're only crucified by baddies sir.. as of the moment, can anyone explain how parsers can be 'abused' if you are doing well?


tank dying? check healer HPS.. if its high, then most likely the prob is with the tank.. if its low, then its with the healer.. no more pointing fingers, no more covering for your friend.. meters are neutral and accurate no more favoritism since the facts are clearly shown

group wipes due to dps races (all ex primals have this) ?.. boot 1 guy instead of reforming the whole group.. no need to point fingers and cause drama where everything's on the parser.. yes its easy to check for threat, but what if you have multiple targets? you can't easily check for all of those at the same time to give an accurate measure

kindly explain to me how this can be abused? especially since you already have a preliminary 'gear ilvl check'.. so if they're full i90s but still have sloppy dps what do u want to do? again, spoil the fun and time of 7 other people?

id say gearscoring people is more abusable than parsers such that most of the i75 and below have trouble finding a group or even trying the content.. how the hell would people improve their gear if they can't even find a group?

meters are fine, its not elitism.. in school, at work, or in any given occasion you are expected to have 'some' level of standard.. is 200 even that hard to achieve? ive seen so many posts about people breaking 300.. if 200 is too high then set your standards to 150


im sure a lot of people would want to clear the content.. and at least parsers can help you do that in weeding your group to point out where to improve.. if you have problems with people who are meter whores, then simply do-not-play-with-them

again first post says this is only an FC measure so please do not cry and go ballistic on how this will be abused on DF (as if DF isnt abusing vote abandon enough to get a 'hail mary' group by chance)
