The first person you blacklisted

Out of curiosity, and pure boredom really, figured i'd ask this question and see responses. Who was the first person you blacklisted in game. It doesn't count if its a gold spammer, or anyone of that sort.

My first person, I was tanking a Guildhest not too long ago, and there was this CNJ who joined in, instantly put on cleric stance. I think to myself whatever, its a lvl 25 GH why not, maybe they have straight int stats for lvling and are switching them out to be more effect. Well as we start, I notice that same person just sitting in the back afking. Again i made an assumption, maybe a DC or had to run to the bathroom real quick, luckily there was a very nice Arcanist there to keep me topped off. well we get all the way to the end and someone said "someones afk" and then that person decides to move, he comes up to our group and just sits there as we down the last target and just takes his free exp and runs off. The first to grace my blacklist was a gil seller (no suprises there), I think I had at least 10-15 blocked before I added an actual person.

This person was a self absorbed moron claiming he had run copperbell over 100 hundred times and knew how it was done, he wanted it done his way and his way only. (As a new tank at the time) I stated, "Thats nice, I'm still learning and as I am the tank here I will go as fast as I am comfortable with. If this doesnt suit you you can always leave" he them proceeded to spew some nonsense that I wasn't really paying attention to and just added him to the blacklist.

He died a few more times until he left (I only really worried about keeping aggro off the healer and other DPS) Group was much happier after he went.

i've never black listed an actual player, just gil sellers. Sadly there have been so many that i've maxed out my black list, twice, since game release. (hitting 200, deleting all, hitting 200 again)

I've never blacklisted anyone. I just ignore gilseller tells as there is always a chance they might be 'real' people with hacked accounts. I'm pretty sure I've been blacklisted by at least one person... I left his party because he called someone else (not me) a derogatory term... so I left. I just don't like playing with people like that. Then he started sending me tells cursing me out because it was so rude of me to leave without saying anything. After a sling of insults (which I probably could have or should have reported him for), he announced he was blacklisting me. Not sure if he did.

So after black listing 547898972435789237985,237895798235hotdog789089bbq128509herderp1890 gil spammers, the first real person to make it to my list was actually when I hit level 50 for the first time. Before we started Hydra, we made sure everyone was ready. So as soon as we entered we engaged. One person just stood at the start, died and didn't take revive the whole time. We managed to one shot hydra anyway, and the MOMENT we existed the instance he "came back from AFKing". Long story short, we gave him another chance and then he did the same thing in Ifrit. I BLed him so that I didn't have to hear anymore of his excuses. Maybe that makes me a jerk, but I hate leechers. This was back when there was no vote kick, and no replacements while doing trial DFs. I was tired of leechers, esp after dealing with all the tanks AFKing during CM.

Some smn dd who made a macro and spammed me for esuna in phase 5 titan after I had just revived the other healer and was preparing to heal through mountain buster.

Like most folks, the first individual to grace my blocklist was a gil spammer but the first (and so far only) non-RMT spammer to be placed on my blocklist was a Dunefolk Lalafell. I cannot reveal their name, but I can reveal their class and levels: Lancer (19)/ Archer (3)/ Carpenter (16)/ Botanist (8). They were not only trolling, but calling people derogatory names. I'm guessing enough people took my advice to put him on their blacklist and report him based upon how lo level they are, and this had happened less than a month after launch.

Gil spammers aside, the first person I blacklisted was someone who has harassed me several times and spammed emotes like /blowkiss at me. The reason he did this is because I went off on him for stealing loot in Coil after causing us to wipe 3-4 times on turn 2 and then proceeded to bash us (he died so many times I had to use swiftcast every cooldown to raise him during ADS and eventually we just 7-manned it leaving him dead)

The first person I blacklisted seemed to think it was his job to be the internet police. As I was leveling up my miner, he walked up to me and started spamming me with trades. He did not say a word to me before doing this, he simply treated me like a bot because I happened to be mining. And he would not stop after I made repeated exclamations about not being a bot, following me around and spamming me with trades. I moved to a different area and he followed me. So, naturally, I made a GM call on him, and was advised by the GM to blacklist the player and any other player that does such things to me, because you cannot be traded by someone on your blacklist.

Hmm. My first non gil seller on my BL was a tank I ran into DF. I don't remember the exact details of what he did but I must've been really pissed off to go as far as to write his name down on the off chance I might run into him in DF again. I suspect it was something along the lines of badmouthing the JP players in our party in English.

And I remember seeing him again in town so that's how he ended up there.
