Just as soon as dps checks stop being part of the game.It should not under any circumstance, however, give you anybody else's stats, which serve no purpose at all except to grief other players with. Their performance is up to them to improve, not you, and if they want to ask for advice in that endeavor, they have several avenues through which to do so.
Even there, your own numbers are the only ones that are useful, because they're the only ones you can improve on. It's up to your teammates to improve their DPS. You cannot do it for them, since you're not playing their characters. The only person who can make use of the parser's stats is the player who's controlling the character involved, so that's the only person who needs to see those stats.

Unless I'm leading a group that's failing a dps check. Then I need to know why that's happening. Do you think if I ask the question "ok, who's dragging us down" someone will actually pipe up and take responsibility for that? Because I don't.Even there, your own numbers are the only ones that are useful, because they're the only ones you can improve on. It's up to your teammates to improve their DPS. Look, a parser is a tool. Like any other tool it has the potential to be misused. But that's not generally the fault of the tool. It's the fault of the user. Should griefing people and generally being toxic be ok? No. Should I be denied information I need about my group's performance because someone's feelings might get hurt? Also no.
this and boss/raid enrages are basically the reasons why we need an official damage meter. everything in savage raids and extreme trials revolve around meeting a dps check and/or skipping a phase (to make the rest of the run easier) and/or beating the hard enrage in time (again back to dps checks).
(some might disagree with me but) now, if they kept all of that but removed the enrages i would be ok if we never got an official one.

And the issue with removing enrages and DPS checks is that healers are too powerful to do that - you could cheese pretty much every fight by stacking healers and just stalling when you run low on MP. DPS would become obsolete. Not a very healthy meta either.
