The only thing i have ever seen slow down CT (and it wasn't spiritbonding) was bad tanks brining valefor to the party and wiping them, dps ignoring the bombs, tanks not grabbing the giant, and dps misplacing comets. Not once....not a single time, have i seen spiritbonding ruin a raid. Ran it in my bikini once. guess what....it didn't make it run longer than usual. crazy right?

I don't do it very often, but I don't see why you're complaining. If I can't spiritbond gear, then you're going to complain at the poor people in ~i55ish gear anyway, despite the dungeon barely requiring that.

If you want to spiritbond, just spiritbond. It's not going to improve or reduce your skill.. except make it take longer by what, 20%? Your 8 minutes is very precious, I get it. Unfortunately the fun that people get from spiritbonding in CT (feeling efficient, feeling happy cause they got a little gift box to open afterwards) is worth more than the efficiency itself for some people. And guess what? Everyone has fun in different ways, and if your interests don't collide either suck it up or have one of you leave.

i made a full set of SB gear, all HQ and some crap T1 materias melded to them. Went out to one of the castrums and it still took me over an hour and a half to SB it all. Where are these magic 15-20 minute SB camps i keep hearing about?

Yea, I agree...I don't mind if people spiritbond in CT as long as the gear is at least a bit relevant. (it's much faster to SB other places but, if you wanna do CT to SB...your paying for your game time...do as you will)

What I don't agree with is what the person that put out the guide that basically stated, just die or afk and let everyone else SB for you. That's (insert your favorite expletive here.)

Everyone agrees CT is easy and can be completed probably with everyone SB...just play the game.

Dying on purpose or afking and letting others SB for you so you can profit is pretty much the same as botting in my eyes.

You went solo? If so that's why. The funny thing is once people find out, These peoples profits will go to crap. Like back in FFXI tell 2 people about BP and farming leeches and the next day everyone is there. If people are making so much Gil as they Claim why tell others?
