Manually using pet abilities?

Honestly, and I've said this before in another thread, the quick reaction time of your pets healing (not abilities though) is more of a boon than a liability. Let your pet heal for herself and just do her abilities.

Absolutely not. She has quick reaction, sure, but she heals only once every few seconds. You want to have her on Obey so that she will be healing non-stop. She's essentially a powerful single-target Regen that should be healing whether the person is at 10% HP or 100% HP to help snipe incoming damage.

Mke a mouse over macro for Embrace, put her on Obey, and go to town.
