Alright well that sure does seem like a hell of a lot to do for only 100k, plus don't you need 8 people for treasure hunts? I don't exactly have that at my disposal, and even if I were to pug them or join a big FC (which Im more influenced to do the first) it would still be a lot of work for like 1600 plus if you get the roll on the material you can sell it on the market for a crappy price.
Also about crafting possibly not making good money: That sucks, and means it is even harder than I thought to make gil.

The dailies take me about 30 minutes, and I don't even do them every day.
I only do the low level roulette to level up my whm right now as well as the guildhest. So that's about 40m, and I also don't do this every day.
For treasure hunts I do get the peisteskin maps, but I only do map runs with my FC about twice a week. One good run can net anywhere from 20-80k per person. That's 160k to 640k for the group as a whole just from pure money drops. Also, those materials you say sell for a crappy price. Is a HQ ingot that sells for 1k not worth it? I do map runs and frequently make an extra 10-20k just from the random drops. In our groups we personally have the rule that need/greed items goto the person who used their map at that time. (I know all groups don't follow this rule, buy my FC does) If you get a stack of potash on my server that's around another 30k. You can't look at the little items and go "not worth it" due to the simple fact that every sale adds up over time. Honestly, maps are the best way to make money in the entire game at the moment. When I do these runs they can take anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours. It depends on how many maps we have. This is a 2 day a week event for me so it ends up being 2-4 hours a week.

So I only spend somewhere around 5-8 hours a week doing activities that make me money. When it comes to the daylies and roulette I'm also leveling alts and my chocobo. When doing the daylies and maps I'm also spirit bonding for some extra cash on the side. I compound multiple techniques at once to get far more done than just farming money so that I'm making broader character progress at all times.
You are severely underestimating/limiting your ability to make money, and if you aren't willing to put in the minimal amount of effort to make money then why even ask? When I see you say "Alright well that sure does seem like a hell of a lot to do for only 100k" you end up striking me as the kind of person who wants the easy way out. Who wants to open and chest and just see 2mil fall out. Well that isn't going to happen. You also say "only 100k" like that isn't good money. With 100k I can buy almost any item in the entire game, and it is considered a decent amount of gil. There are no golden tickets in this game at all. You need multiple strategies in effect ot make that cash.
