If the BLM doesn't get gaoled, he's competitive with the other non-gaoled DPS, sometimes doing the most. It really depends on procs and crits. Single-target is probably lower due to movement in general, but BLM gets to flare the gaols and gaolers.

That too, haha. Flaming Arrow and Shadow Flare incur the same behavior, but it's less noticeable. That's why I haven't been throwing out numbers; I'd rather not incidentally start any arguments about X being worthless or Y being amazing because of extraneous damage output. Numbers need context!

What are your thoughts on Warrior vs Paladin as the tank?

Also, what accessories is your tank using?

For a DPS race, I think tanks should even equip Gryphonskin jewellery to push more damage. As a tank, I never liked using i90 jewellery in this fight. I think pushing Titan through phases and shortening the fight actually alleviates more risk than having the extra 25 Vitality. Overall, it is the better choice, whether you're learning or farming Titan.

WAR should be better for getting a faster time but one of the potential issues is enmity. Dropping any amount of GCDs away from enmity generation in order to put up Maim or Storm's Path (or Storm's Eye) is pretty noticeable and it adds up when we have a WHM layering so much healing output. A SCH would spread some of the enmity generation to the fairy but there are other trade-offs there. With all that being said, I think WAR is doable and could potentially be more optimal.

edit: even with a PLD, we planned on at least one Provoke after the heart due to how everything lined up, so as long as the WAR could hold it up until that point, there wouldn't be a substantive difference as far as enmity is concerned.

Yea I wasn't full i90 for the very same reason you mentioned Bokchoykn. I had some gryphonskin accessories for the extra enmity generation + dps. I ended up with i87 for the kill shown.

I've done WAR solo tank with WHM+SCH as healers. Haven't really tried 1 tank 1 heal composition yet with WAR tank but I'd like to. Tumults can be healed through with a single Divine Seal+Medica 2 (pop it way early for the first set of tumults so it'll be off cooldown by the 2nd set since you're pushing phases so fast), as long as people aren't getting hit by any other mechanics. I believe a good warrior far out-strips the enmity generation of any paladin, given proper cooldown usage, and you wouldn't have any enmity issues going WAR+WHM.

Get 6 monks. 1 monk will maintain DKick debuffs and the others just do their standard rotation. I don't remember the exact time, but we killed it around the same time as Row Bombs was finishing up. Most of the people were not very geared since we needed to find skilled players first over a geared Monk.
