Not sure why you quoted my post since I never compared the price of a PS3 and a decent PC and I said it was my opinion that the PS3 version is unplayable after playing the PC version.I promise you most decent rigs cost more than a PS3 these days. PS3 version is far from unplayable and if they phase out the PS3 the game won't magically change because they're still going to develop with the lowest common demoninator in mind - Which isn't the PS3, unless someone can make a list of every game on the PS3 that:
1. Lacks collision detection between characters (PC/NPC)
2. Lacks physics in certain regards.
3. All have low res textures when zoomed in.
4. Separates upper/lower body movement that can glitch out quite easily.
Remember: FFXI actually has collision detection and it's a 2001 PS2 game, so a lot of stuff are design choices and not necessarily due to "limitations".
