Is this the part where you turn around an continue playing/hovering the forums after saying this? Oh I do hope so! I love that part!Doesn't really matter. Ps3 limitation is the reason this game won't get anywhere. I just cant wait for SE to implement their "huge map fort pvp battle" just so i can see how dumbed down and bad it is because it need to be playable on a toaster
Leviathan fight is a perfect exemple
I canceled my sub 1.5 month ago. I just browse the forum because i can and for some reason you don't even need an active account to post. I usualy always go back to the games i quit so reading forums and seeing the complains is a way to remind me why i quitted. Any problem with that sir?
I didn't like the direction the game was going (an exemple being crystal tower being in a patch after coil. A patch that's all about gearing alts is weird
Ps3 limitation as previously stated. I don't expect to see any interesting fight mechanic, massive battles or open world anything
Invisible walls. If i want to climb this mountain. Swim to this location. jump off this cliff and die or jump across this little hole to save myself time. just let me, screw your stupid walls
Gear is insanely boring. No proc, no, set bonus, no effect. Nothing. just ilvl
No character customisation whatsoever(as in no talent/skill trees, no traits
Coil (with 4 boss) being the only end game thing. If coil had 10-12 bosses it would've been fine but 4 boss a week as "end game content" is pathetic
Really minor one being class balance. Bard didnt need a nerd, monk didnt need a crazy damage buff. they needed QoL things. BLM didnt deserve to get their single target dps nerfed because of a "bug fix" to astral/umbral. Most if not all fight favor ranged over melees
Yes actually, for a beast as big as leviathan i was expecting more than "smack his nose till it die" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6IXo...tailpage#t=147 this random sea snake which was confirmed not to be leviathan would've been more interestingYou really going to use a fight no one seen yet as an example lol and a 25 seconds video that only shows one tank and Leviathan jumping in and out of water doesn't count.

You have way too much free time. Now on the subject of ps3 performance; I use a PS3 slim, no SSD, and on a wireless connection. I commonly outperform PC players and the only issue I have ever had is my character animations don't keep up with my commands, which is a non-issue when in keeping track of my rotation.
I actually kind of agree, and hope that what happens to the PS3 version is the same thing that happened to the PS2 version of XI. XI fans don't complain that new expansions aren't primarily on PS2, JP only, etc, and they don't care, because the PS2 has been phased out. The only way this will work though, is when the PS3 doesn't have anymore developer or publisher support. As long as big games are still coming out for the PS3, SE will continue to provide support for it. Meaning your dreams of things not being dumbed down for a last gen console, or notebooks, or whatever the reason, won't happen for awhile. Money is money, and I can't see SE pulling the plug on it while people are still giving them a decent chunk of cash to play on it.
Keep in mind, I play on PS3 as well, have a PS4 and can't wait for beta in three weeks. The PS3 version is pretty bad compared to the PC versions, but it's not much compared to the way XI was on PS2 compared to PC, which was downright terrible. But, I also understand that not everyone can afford a PS4, or can find one either. So it makes sense for SE to continue to give those people support until the console becomes obsolete, which might be a year or two yet, if the PS2 is anything to go by.
If it does, however, get phased out, it would be nice to see them maybe open the zones up instead of having everything instanced and loading all the time you want to go anywhere. Honestly, and no I'm not an elitist, or being a jerk here, but that's one of the complaints I have with the game as a whole. Is that it's not an open world and follows the XI model of loaded zones. But, I understand the decision they made and why they made it....as I played 1.0 and built a PC for it back then and that thing ran like crap, it was just badly optimized. Also, I get that this will never happen and is simply wishful thinking. Although one can hope the game will look better as more expansions come out, as has happened with WoW and other MMO's.
Anyways, just my two cents.

Jeez this post is so dumb ewww i think the PS3 ver is ugly i hate it so get rid of it waaaaa i wan't my wayyyyy frame rate issues? iv never had them the PC ver looks better sure and can run the game faster yes but the PS3 ver still looks very good and it's not like the PC ver is beating it out that bad. Only on the loading times but yea at some point i will get it on PS4 but not everyone has that sort of cash![]()
I see that blaming it on PS2 limitations is alive and well, in a new game, in the same format.
So how about I skip explaining why you're wrong and just leave it at you're wrong. Oh, and you're wrong.
I would argue that PC has never been superior to consoles and the whole 'PC Master Race' nonsense was just rhetoric. All the pc players are gonna switch over when they see how great the ps4 is. Everyone says consoles are basically computers so ps4 is basically one of the top electronics brands making a 400$ gaming pc. Just the price kills a pc, why would anyone play with a more expensive inferior product? Customer loyalty? Keep the excuses coming why pc is better, ps4 is gonna kill pc. Plus it's gonna have chat. Yeah pc was better in 2013, but what parts in your pc were made when ps3 launched?
