Asking them not to use the words 'raid' is like asking first person shooters not to use the words 'gun'.
Usually I would agree with opinions like this. But I think you have to realise that FFXIV is an artistic game that prides itself on literary flare and rich lore. The modern MMO terminologies would encroach upon FFXIV's artistic view and make it generic, I feel.
