I must agree with the OP in general - while I think its a bit nit-picky to focus on the terms themselves, the basic idea I agree with. This is Final Fantasy XIV, not a generic SE mmo - it needs to live up to the name as FFXI did.(unfashionable as it is to reference that game for some around here) Raids, mounts, etc. - bland, generic content added without lore, elaborate plot lines, immersion, or any FF style beyond the superficial - just creates a shallow, ineffective copy of industry standards. SE has proven incredibly inept at actually implementing even the simplest of these standards, they need to focus on getting the Final Fantasy part right so that it offers some kind of unique appeal. You can't out-WoW WoW, the industry needs to accept this fact at some point and embrace their own niches, no game is ever going to be as good as WoW trying to do what WoW does in the foreseeable future.
