Why would SCH have a pet to blind.
Remember SCH is a healing class, so it is support all around.

EOS - Healing support Selene - DPS If anything a Helios would support the tank in direct overall damage reduction now I think about it.

Well the same question could be asked of why SCH's Selene has Silence. Selene is a support pet, not just a support DPS pet. While SCH primarily heals, it also supports with eye for an eye/sacred soil and debuffs with virus. Therefore, it would not be completely strange to have a debuffing pet. Also blind would make the target hit the tank less.

But as Sanguiso said earlier, SCHs already have their own blinding skill, ruin 2 which is insta cast. It makes no sense to give a fairy a blinding skill on top of the debuff that SCHs already have. There are other debuffs that fairys can inflict without overlapping with SCH skills.

Would it be OP to have a fairy that casts debuffs like determination down on an enemy for short periods of time? I'm thinking of a virus type fairy that supports by making enemies weaker as opposed to making the party stronger.

Very true SCH does already have Blind. Stun maybe.

Because Selene plays an active role in DPS, so it would make sense that she has a skill which plays an non damage dps role.
Clearly you limited knowledge of SCH, let me inform you there is an inst cast skill called RuinII, this blinds.

Both Eos and Selene are support pets, with unique attributes, Eos is support for healers, Selene for Dps.
