Stuff like blind, stun, silence, sleep, etc would all be a waste of spell slot for the new fairy. Other classes can already take care of those duties. More than enough. They will only beat you to it, just like you hardly ever use silence on Selene (unless all your bards/PLD are dead). Mages in general have tons of room to explore with unique spells like we have seen in other MMO's. Anyone here tried Rift? Since SCH is a dmg mitigation role, I wouldn't mind some spells similar to Rift's cleric defiler class.
For example, the permanent links you could place on party members. They're basically more shielding spells but ones that transfer dmg from target to you. Lets say, next attack would hit for 75% reduced dmg on tank and SCH will take 25% of that dmg taken.
Another spell could be for reducing TP/Mana on all skills for party members for a limited time.
This game lacks AOE cleanse (esuna/leeches) badly. It's weird we don't already have this when there are plenty of fights that debuff all party members. That AOE cleanse could be on 30 sec CD.
Then we need another spell that could save the tank from one killing blow. It could be on larger CD like about 2 mins.
Best of all, if they introduce passive skills, that would be awesome. For example, add two passive skills but only one can stay activated at a time. For now, one passive could be for healer support and one for dps support. Healer support passive could be about whenever a party member kills an add, a small amount of HP would get restored to party. Dps passive could be whenever the healer gets hit, it hits the source back for certain amount of dmg.
See, the new ideas are infinite so lets not rehash the game further with stuff which is already in like OP is suggesting.

Hmm lots of neat spells and I'm definitely looking forward to the new pet's role. Although I can see it being a migration/enhancing type pet:
Embrace - the usual embrace
Radiant Dawn - increases the Scholar's critical rate by 20% for 10s, additional: the double effect is triggered for Succor as well | 60s cooldown
Fey Liberation - grants a shield to all party members in a range that blocks 2 negative status ailments for 30s, vanishes once 2 status effects were applied like stoneskin | 45s cooldown
Fey Halo - doubles the shield potency of Adloquium and Succor for 20s | 80s cooldown
This would make it the perfect fairy if you want to go super defensive and proactive. Eos will be still the big heals fairy due to her regen and healing+ buffs and Selene will be the buff fairy for extra dps.

Naaa, smn is not getting a new egi, so, we wont have any pet soon, but I would like to have
Embrace, the usual
Invincible Moon, cast invincible to all party members for 2 sec, re cast 5min
Aura, Lb bar charges faster for 20 secs, CD 5min
Reflect, reflect magic damagr for 10 secs, CD 3 min
and so much more that it can be

Succor already has a "double effect" its just SE being lazy on the skill description. The double potency on shields for 20seconds (including triple if critical. .) may be a little op, especially for death sentence. . . Also considering the max crit rate we can hit is 18% without food and buffs. As for the ailment prevention, pfft. Poison will be your troll. Useless skill. D< Just stick to leeches/ensuna.Radiant Dawn - increases the Scholar's critical rate by 20% for 10s, additional: the double effect is triggered for Succor as well | 60s cooldown

It's too bad Selene's silence doesn't actually work most of the time (how many attacks have actually been stopped by her silence? I haven't noticed it once).Sounds great, almost! However, the only issue is the summon's role needs to be consistent. Summon I is a healing role, so it gives buffs that affect healing and damage reduction. Summon II is a support role, so it has supporting abilities. I think it's more logical for there to be a Summon III for debuffing.
This would make more sense.
Embrace - the default fairy ability
Sol Glare - casts blind on the enemy, 20s on a 60s cooldown
Fey Aureole (or Fey Halo) - decrease the physical resistance of nearby enemies by 20% for 20s on a 120s cooldown (15y radius).
Helios Megistos (or 'Sol Invictus') - increases potency of a single mob's DOTs effects for 20s on a cooldown of 120s.
I'd say in the patch they should switch out silence on Selene for a one person buff of some sort... and then add a third fairy that is a debuff specialist as you suggest.

The next pet should be a mix between healing and support. Either that or buffed versions of Eos and Selene.
Succor doesn't get double shields on crit, that is just Adlo. You can easily test it by casting succor till it crits and cast an adlo, the non-crit adlo shield will over write the succor crit shield.Succor already has a "double effect" its just SE being lazy on the skill description. I don't think we are getting a new fairy (or summon) either. That said if they were adding on, it would have to have overlapping buff effects. It can't have anything as crazy as reflective shields and faster LB aura, those would make us mandatory in all content. I would say a fairy that is able to cast similar spells as bards.Naaa, smn is not getting a new egi, so, we wont have any pet soon, but I would like to have

So something like..
Embrace
MP regen - 30s dura 1m cd
TP regen - 30s dura 1m cd
Debuff enemies to take enhanced dmg - toggle skill, while toggled on embrace cd increased to 5s cd (from the 3s cd it is currently).. Or if no debuff maybe a life leach effect (deals no extra dmg) that is based on a % of the dmg you dealt
And have them work like Selene's spells. Rotate TP/MP regen spells etc.
These seem more balanced since these effects already exist ingame and still fall in a supportive role.
