A system srror has occured -2146697211, HTTPS System Error

Was playing game fine, headset got knocked and disbled sound from the game.

i restarted the game to get sound on and when i goto login the white login text boxes stay black and eventually the error message above appears.

I have:
flushed DNS,
ipconfig /release - ipconfig /renew
reset router 5 times already
restarted computer a whole bunch of times
deleted the FFXIV folder from my documents

Still getting the error.

Why has this just suddenly started happening? help on this is very limited and im not sure what to do from here.

I'm trying to log on, getting similar problem but error code is [11070][-2140077934].

Exact same issue! And it seems to be happening on pc and ps3 for me!

Did some looking around to try and resolve the issue... no luck! But can you actually connect to eu.finalfantasyxiv.com as that seems to be taking ages to load aswell.

Reset my connection a couple of times and now working - hopefully just a temporary server glitch!

I've also got this problem on the PS3. Restarted the PS3 a few times and no luck!

Just out of curiosity! where are you guys from and what isp are you using, maybe its something we have in common. Im from UK and have Virgin as my ISP.

im getting it in the UK via virgin, but I route through a GPN

I don't think it is an ISP issue as several of my FC from other countries have the issue. I pretty certain its the Montreal servers

Mines Virgin too... This is unreal. I went home this weekend to escape from rubber banding on Sky only to find Virgin Media even more unplayable. Square, how much more do you think us UK players can endure?
