radar UI app crosses the line

So, I was told that a certain app for ffxiv now had a plug-in or 3rd party widget that overlays onto our games map showing real time positioning for nodes, Npc, monsters, players, etc.

I personally feel that this app is proceeding down the wrong path and this new radar for it has crossed the line. The problems that this radar can cause are staggering esp if used in pvp or NM's are released into the game.

So basically, it's Windower (from FFXI) with addons such as Radar, distance, etc active.

I wouldn't count on SE doing anything about it unless the person using it publicly outs himself (via chat). Just another advantage PC players get, lol.

Yes because pvp is so delicately balanced now we wouldnt want something to spoil it

The game already does this. If you have a quest enabled mobs show up as dots on your minimap, same with npcs.
