We were told 6 months after launch that we will see add on tools released. Think we'll see them in the next 2 months? They haven't mentioned it in a while.

In my opinion add ons will just gender more strife in a community that is already failing at friendliness. I could care less about someone using that stuff to check mine or someone else's damage or healing against someone else's and then basically call me or them a nub because one of us is 5 or 10 points lower then the other.
Edit: I'm sure there are some useful and even fun add ons but I really don't care about them myself.

Ok, but dmg meters aside, I am more interested in things like custom UIs and such.....
From what i've read, all add-ons must be approved by Square before they can be used, not sure if that implies an ingame interface for adding them or what (mostly because i heard that the same add-ons will be on playstaions too). That would mean that even if the means to make them is out in six months, there might be some delay in them actually being out, depending on how quickly Square approves them.
There is still the live letter part 2 for 2.2 to see what might come, but it could come later too, 2.3 or so. They haven't said much, but with one of the parsers now having more things that broach hacking, they might be making sure nothing like that creeps in.
Yes please. I hope SE is sticking to their word on this, I'd be sorely disappointed otherwise.
