Why can't we have the ability to create accurate Parser?

Because it is not that hard to use your own two eyes to see if someone is being gimp or not.

Um yes it are. The whole reason of parser is for have accurate reading of dps and accuracy, thing you are for never know by reading combat log. There are reason people know BiS gear and necessary accuracy require for fight, and it are because of parser.

Dont need Parse to play ANY game. Thats just for people to brag about how far they can go, nothing else.

Parsers were the reason Rift Raiding was only ever completed by a small portion of folk early on, because they were using it to alienate certain builds based off an "Estimate" Delve that doesn't take into account real DPS in boss scenarios, heck Bards would parse terribly compared to other healers but it didn't stop players from progressing in the "real" situation.

I'm glad SE is against parsing tools, because they are nothing more than an estimate figure people use to shun folk because of their prefered playstyle.

Edit: Back in DaoC (before dps parsers even existed) I used to play a HeraTank (Melee Heretic) back then people thought stuff like that was cool and loved to see people succeed in different from the norm playstyles.

Because back in the ye old days, there weren't many DPS checks beyond your healers running out of mana. And before you go all crazy on me about ye old games, I've been playing these since UO.

I prefer having a parser because it allows me to see where I need to improve, and who, in the raids I lead, needs to improve. And how else would you find out you need to improve without accurate data? I can say "We need better DPS for this DPS check" all day but no one is going to always own up and say "I'll look to adjust my gear/food setup, and my rotation".

Vanilla WoW (widely regarded as the best itteration of WoW) also managed to make boss fights interesting without the need of DPS Parsing, I was one of those people that disagreed with the whole "Enrage" mechanic on every boss ever, the odd one or two bosses? Definatley (Doomlord Kazzak comes immediatley to mind) but the way the Enrage mechanic is being used in modern MMO's is a lazy way of making bosses difficult without interesting strats (Even then it isn't a difficulty curve it's a gear gate). Vanilla WoW managed to achieve progressive play without Enrage on every boss, The whole progression from Dungeon to 24 to 40 man raid was natural and actually a lot more fun.

It's a Shame that we will never see the likes of Nefarian, Ragnaros or Cromagus boss battles again, because folk are quite happy to settle with "Enrage" and judge on figures that are more rough estimates than hard facts.

It's a tool that can/will be abused, there are already parties in PF's with "if you die more than once, you get kicked" can you imagine what its gonna be like with open parsers? "Need good DPS, if its low, you get kicked."

They probably did because they wanted to see if you had the gear to backup your attitude. :\
