Achievement Progress 0/0

This has been an issue since I started playing the game.
Whenever I check my achievement progress for incomplete achievements, the counter reads 0/0. Rarely when I attempt to refresh the log again I get an accurate number, however I usually have to click the achievement upwards of 10 times to see the progress bar show anything OTHER than 0/0. I frequently will also receive an error that achievement data is not available and achievement points are 0.

This is not limited to hardware as I play the game on a laptop and desktop at various locations - however as seems to be the problem in the game, I am in a high latency region (Australia) and there is a SIGNIFICANT delay for most actions in the game, achievement updates included.
