About mounts - mainly Behemoth one

I really hope they do not make this game mount fest like certain place of not-so-peaceful-craft where everyone had hundreds of different mounts and main cities felt more like some sort of petting zoos for exotic animals. Effectively takes away immersion when there's people riding all sorts of dragons and variant monsters.

What's even worse is, if I understood correctly, we're given welfare mount for certain days of subscription which is nothing less than BEHEMOTH???

Seriously, behemoths have always been the meanest and baddest thing there is, only second to hardest bosses. They have always been rare and majestic creatures that struck a little fear unto players with their physical strength and high level magic. Even in this game so far, there's about one boss behemoth and now you're giving such a glorious beast away for everyone to ride as a mount?

Am I the only one who thinks this outright sucks?

Yeah, screw variety. My immersion is on the brink of being broken every time I see someone riding a beast from the world. It's impossible to tame beasts, except chocobos, those don't break immersion.

Well luckily the people of Eorzea have the decency to keep mounts outside of towns.

Aside: I would rather win these mounts and minions from something more than just having a subscription up for a long time.

Confusing decency with lack of reason to use a mount, or maybe you were making a joke about how actual towns block mounts... who knows.

How come you post on the forums and dont even play the game? I mean you didnt even sub past the free trial or even have enough playtime to give out how the game should be run... You almost got 4k forum posts.. I guess the real game is on here right?

No white glove minion (Didnt pay for first month)
No Magitek mount (Didnt reach end of 2.0)
No Grand Company mount (which means you never did any main story past lv20ish)

Eh? I play about an hour every day or so on my new character, slowly leveling my crafting and gathering jobs along my gladiator. I'm nearing level 30 with him. He's the one with all the 2.0 stuff.

I also have a 50 legacy I don't use anymore. I just keep him as my main here because posting restrictions based on level are dumb.

When they introduce chocobo breeding you will probably see the pattern swing back to 'bos. Especially when you can breed multiple colours.

I would say that giving bred birds enahnced speed would make them more popular, but it's not like there's anywhere we all need to run to these days.
