    Twintania killing

The feeling I got when clearing Twintania was definitely the best feeling I've had in the game so far. I hope turns 6 through 9 are just as intense.

How did other folks feel when killing her? Watching her health slowly drop, dodging Liquid Hells, hoping to god that everyone pulls off Hatch correctly... it was quite a rush.

Agreement: Twintania is the fight in this game that one gets a rise on that first clear. The amount of coordination, the multiple skill checks involved, and the overall choreography of the fight is just well done. Knowing Yoshi, turn 9 is going to be Kephess, Pandemonium Warden, Aboslute Virtue, etc level of fun.

PW & AV are not what I'd call fun.

Objection: Both Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden were great fun. The game was more outsmart the devs than legitimately kill the boss for the longest time and that is what made those fun.

Outsmart as in the use of exploits and game glitches?

I have yet to clear Twintania, but have been practicing hard. I hope I can get that same feeling too, when I eventually clear it.

Query: What part are you stuck on? From someone who has cleared it multiple times, this one would be happy to assist with any questions you may have.

Thanks for the help. My party currently gets past dive bombs, but never seem to have enough DPS for snakes. Right before the blue boom, the big snake isn't dead, and for whatever reason, half the party wipes, even while in Neurolink. Only the OT and melee(s) have stacks.

We're currently working on it, we have at least one member who's cleared Twintania a few times. It's a learning process but we'll get there

Statment: This one's static was having the exact same problem until a few changes were made. One, have the DPS bring both Higeas (small snakes) to 50% only then focus fire Asclepeus (Big Snake). During the second Dive Bomb Phase, have your BLM(s) use Manawall and just eat a divebomb if targeted and continue to damage the Asclepeus while the rest of the group is kiting the divebombs off, be careful though as while the BLM is immune to the damage from the divebomb, the rest of the group is not if the BLM is targeted so position carefully.

Statement: When the last 2 Higeas spawn, group them all together and caster LB2/3. With 2 both the 50% Higeas should be dead and the others will have 2 stacks on them making them easily killed as well. The Asclepeus should be by itself now with 4 stacks on it at ~65%, have your scholar switch to cleric stance, as WHM can easily solo heal the tank, and blast it down with all CD and damage that can be mustered. If done right all the snakes should be dead 6-7 seconds before Aetheric Profusion goes off.

Thanks for the advice. I adviced my DPS to use Mega Potion of STR HQ too, we need all the DPS we can output. Probably going to have practice on Sunday, since it's Chinese New Year period for my static, they're probably off celebrating and getting drunk!

I feel like I'm at the point where I haven't got past the blue boom, but I can somewhat confidently handle Phases 4 and 5 as the off-tank.
