Remember if you are level 50 you get some philo tomes and for some dailies sometimes so mythos. But there are other ways of acquiring those. The main story daily gives you a substantial amount of philo compared to like running the Wanderer's Palace. Also if you are leveling an alt class the low level dailies are very helpful. But there is no penalty later in the game for not doing them. Do whatever you like.

Lol, That is never going to happen... The dev's saying something was implemented as a filler... Honestly there is no answer for it because things change... If people avoided them, they probably would force story but since people do them probably wont... But then again things change...

The main reward for the dailies is the mount and pet after you hit rank 4. If you don't care about the mount or pet then there is no need to do them.

daily give around 20k gil/day and that assume you are at the last tier with the beastmen and it take not much time to do it. If you are not a tanker you can always craft and gather while waitting for DFR to pop or when you do beastmen. If you have already cap tome and have no ue for philo tome & dont need anymore gil, just focus on finish beastmen and ignore the DFR

Eh, I'm not a fan of daily quests myself.
I feel as if they are a bit of a cop out... XD
I'm doing them for the minion, mount, and bits of lore.

I have tried the dailies and saying I dislike them would be a huge understatement. I absolutely loathe doing them. I would rather make money gathering or crafting things players need and selling them.

I tried to do dailies again today and they make me hate this game. I still feel disgusted from doing them. I'm fine with other people liking them I just hope it won't hurt me later if I don't do them.

but much like some of the people said, as of now, only special items and normal mats, and unique mats from having a high enough mats (im guessing furniture since i havent checked on it)

Like duty roulette, dungeon runs, HQ crafting leves and treasure hunting? Or are they too much repeatable?

I don't hate the dailies. They give me some money, some shards, some tomestones and my chocobo they give some exp.

I really like the daily quests.

In the week, I only have a few hours a night to play, so it's nice to have something that's quick but still allows me to progress (tomes = darklight). You can get 42 tomes a day on the second tier (I think).

You're insulting the devs because they implemented an (optional) quest chain that takes literally 10-20 minutes to complete. They were never meant to supplant Bahamut as a quest point; they're just a distraction.

every game that had dailies in it made me want to quit the game, and worst is, its really one of the best ways to earn money (adding money into the market, not taking money from others) leves being the second best
i spend more time doing leves from crafting than dailies, and every time i do dailies in games, my boredom with the game jumps immensely

and yes i am insane, idc about it, just dont give me dailies to supplement my time.......what i really cant wait for is gold saucer

I kinda enjoy doing the dailies lol... It's not so bad and I want to see the stories and collect my rewards... I like questing lol
