The problem is that this was posted in the DPS forum when this should have been posted in the Tank forum. The Lancer class in general can serve as a really good tank, but the DRG Job is nowhere near being able to tank. If you take off the job crystal and use some cross class abilities, it can be beastly. Honestly all you would need is Flash from GLD and you're good.

Though if you stick with DRG, it won't be as good. We just don't have the AoE to hold mobs. Although with just a 20 str/10 Vit stat point split, my own DRG can OT pretty well. I can tank the skeletons on Bone Dragon and the slimes on Cad without problems.
