Wel, be aware that the players range from elementary kid to 40+.
You really don't know who's behind the keyboard, and there's nothing u can do about it.
I've seen JP player who doesn't know what "lb" is, and needs to be capitalized "LB" to understand it's limited break.
Just saying, all you can do is ignore those uneducated ones and handle the situation wisely.

From my personal experiences, kids tend to take the game too serious, and adults would handle with jokes or what not.

IMHO, the reason no one tanks is because it's a zillion times more responsibility than everything else, PLUS you have to manage both players and monsters.

Based on your criteria, healers have much more responsibilities than Tanks.
There is ofc few fights entirely up to Tanks such as Garuda EX for example but in general ?
They dnt really need to care bout anything else than WHAT theyre targeting and WHERE.
Healers in the other hand have to:
Watch theyre positioning for optimal Aoe heals or dodging purposes, watch for enemy moves, time their casts, watch over everyone's health, watch their MP.

Ifrit EX is the best example that comes to my mind.

PS: Its coming from someone who can play each of the 3 roles in endgame content ( WHM main ).

I actually usually play WHM, or Scholar. They are my level 50 classes. I never once got crap on those, like I do when tanking. I mark kill orders, ask people politely, and they still just do what they want then complain to me when I die cause they decide they want to pull extra.

Or they decide to run in and pull aggro before I get a chance to explain a fight to a new player. Yes, this game still gets new players.

Kids these days I tell ya. No respect for their elders. When I was a kid my dad used to beat me with his adamantium-tipped black ox leather belt buckle and then would say "hello". Nowadays kids are suing their parents for not buying them iphones.

I usually heal, but I got a healer yesterday while on my pld that insisted on pew pewing (fine, whatever),..but I died... then they switch to healing the drg (dropped cleric stance)... and healed them the rest of the encounter (about the last 10 percent).

After that nonsense, they have the audacity to say "Who needs a tank!"?

I think tanking fun besides the responsibility and also depending on the class. I normally play as a dps in other mmorpg games, but this time my favorite class is designed to be a tank. I was indifferent plus it was a new approach for me and I grown to like it. As for dungeons with bad pugs which I rarely get. I've only been a few dungeon runs where I ran into bad folks, but never kicked. However I'm used to that atmosphere because mmorpgs such as WoW is also like that. Some players expect perfect runs, instant gratification and etc not realizing that there will be a time it will won't happen at all. Usually when that happens they leave the group making their group suffer waiting on the next person.
