Maybe have a stance that adds different affects to those two abilities when used from the Front (as well as defensive and +enmity stuff). Something like - Impulse Drive has increased Enmity when used from the front, and Heavy Thrust decreases enemy damage dealt when used from the Front.
I'd actually really like to see SAM as a tank personally. I think its the only way I'd end up playing it. But I'd also be very surprised if they did that. I think a lot of people would be very upset if it wasn't a DPS. But then again, I think everyone would rather see every class as a DPS.
I just hope the next Class released comes with two Jobs and that they aren't both DPS. I also hope if/when they add new Jobs to the existing classes that they aren't all just the same Role as the one they already have (ex.- adding another DPS Job for PUG or LNC, adding another Healer Job to WHM, etc.)
Is "Templar" really FF?
Other than being an enemy exclusive in FFT I don't remember seeing this job show up on any of the Main FF Titles...
My wish is to put the Dancer to a Tank role.
PLD -> Damage mitigation via skills
WAR -> Damage absorption via sheer HP + more potent damage dealer to end the fight faster
DNC -> Damage recuperation via self-heal (a job branch of PUG since unfortunately daggers belong to GLD)
On a side note, I really wish Dual Wield to be implemented NOT AS A NIN Exclusive but available to any single hand weapon jobs.
However with the current Armoury system and lack of class "trait" sharing it's more likely for a new category of weapons called something like "Dual Blade" to be created![]()
FFTA and TA2, bangaa-only job, spear-wielder and has a variety of anti-mage abilities as well as requiring tanky jobs to unlock.
Not even that arcane of a job, i'd say.
Most likely their combos will be adjusted when you equip a Templar Soul Stone to be more Tank Role focused.
Enmity effects can be added to their basic combos while their position skills are changed to work when they are infront of the enemy if LNC equips a Templar SoulStone.
