you have contracted mmobipolardisorder. the things you mention are quite frankly useless... Not to mention a burden on bandwidth... prioritize my friend, this stuff is not crucial.. Why trade with yourself?
Trade one on mono. ...

Were you guys around when FFXI would crash every time you zoned? I think it might've been 2003 or 2004. Either way, SE tried to blame the crashing on our routers. I spent hours online in their stupid chat window trying to get it resolved only for them to tell me I had to forward ports when the day before it worked fine.
The point is, this is nothing new. If you really have a problem with the way SE handles their PR, you probably should jump ship. Everything points at these issues remaining unresolved almost indefinetely. Look at FFXIV now compared to release... you still... can't... ride airships or chocobos... And is there a release date on the PS3 version? Nope.
Move on guys. Sitting here crying clearly isn't doing anything. Play something else already.

Again, you too seem to be having that miscommunication, because you're expecting those things you listed in the game right now; without realizing how much they are completely rewriting and revamping. I think if people understood just how much they are redoing before they put in content [aka so they have a system that works and they can balance things around, since the game systems up to this point and still into the significant future have been an utter failure] there would be less angst among players.
My concern, and don't get me wrong I think this game is terrible in its current state, is that people will look at the next two dungeons that are coming out and basically think its indicative of the quality of content to expect; and I'm expecting them to be very fillerish temporary content, so this too might create a lot of angst because of that lack of knowing what Square is really doing. Adding a few boxes and saying "examination" doesn't really do a lot for players.
I just talked to a person about an hour ago who thinks that 1.18 includes all of the job revamps; boy is he going to be disappointed. I talked to a few other people today who think that 1.18 is coming out tomorrow, which is highly unlikely.
Just adding a few extra words in their communication could help them greatly on the PR side and temper everyone's fury.
