    What happened to the promise of mixing up update times?

    I remember reading on the lodestone, can't remember where for the life of me atm, that they promised to mix up update times to be fair to all timezones.

    This has yet to happen. at all.

    It's whatever is convenient, they wouldn't want to push away their Japanese players who are CLEARLY superior to us lol (Joke btw). They're a japanese company, so its whatever they can do during their working hours.

    I don't remember reading this anywhere, as far as I'm aware its always been 21:00 - 23:00 GMT.

    Well, its whatever works for the masses. At the moment and since release the only timezone really handicapped by the updates and maintenances is europe. I'm from germany so these updates/maint hit me during my prime time each time...well, can't help it...someone has to suffer.

    I'm GMT so I'm just grateful that at the moment they haven't been doing them at 5/6pm until 9/10pm like they always used to on FFXI lol. 2 hour for maintenance is bearable compared to the 4 hours it used to take them on FFXI.
