I remember back in the early GW2 beta, there were a lot of GMs/devs around answering questions and testing things out with us. We showed one of the GMs the Mesmer portal glitch, where you could put like 20 portals all within a few pixels of each other and you'd just go through this infinite loop of warping through each portal until your game crashed or you managed to wiggle yourself out.

Managed to crash the GM. He came back and was like "Wow. I think I'm sick now."

Yeah, it's well known that he used to login to the game during the Beta and meet with players.

He has also mentioned in interviews he does actually play the game incognito (although the last time I read this, he admitted he's not very far in the game, and that he was still stuck on Titan story mode - not surprising, he's too busy developing the game to play it!), meaning it's entirely possible any one of us might have partied with him at any time and not even realized it!
