Can't log on, multiple errors since last nights patch

I was playing fine last night until the maint/patch and all day i've been trying to get on.

The launcher is loading very slow or not at all like if I have no internet connection
If I get past that I get some error with a - in front and a bunch of numbers
If i'm lucky enough to get past that I get a 2002 error
and finally I get 90k errors trying to log in past the character page

I was able to get on for about 30 mins after restarting my router but since then all the computer restarts, ip flushes. or router restarts won't fix it

Any suggestions

edit: that long number error I was talking about is (a system error has occured -2146697211)

Ive been having the same error since the beta days for FFxiv ARR. Its either alot of players trying to log in or somethings up with your internet....But I leaned towards players trying to log into the game when the servers are already full. Hope they fix it soon.

My internet seems fine, except for the FF14 site and game itself, have they addressed this or anything, kind of irritating

I'm having this problem as well. PS3 version.

Since the update, I haven't been able to get into the game on PS3. Sometimes it will let me log in and get as far as the main menu before it tells me the server's not responding and kick me back to the launcher, which will load the frames, but not the login boxes or news/topic highlights.

Sometimes it will tell me to register the code that came with the box (already done a month ago) and then bring up the following message:

A system error has occurred: -2147309046.

Or sometimes I'll get this:

Unable to complete version check.
[20447][20448][10009][10019]

Or this:

The server is not responding.

Yes, I know there's a link right there for their customer support. I already tried it, it's utterly useless. I try searching for the error codes it gave me and it says they don't exist.

If I continue pressing X to try and get in, it just keeps feeding me error message after error message. I was able to sign in every day with no problems before the update, but after downloading and installing it, my game is pretty much dead.

I even tried deleting the game and reinstalling it, but that didn't fix it at all.

Is there any way to fix this? I just finished my free month and paid for a subscription, so now my money is literally being wasted on a game I can no longer play.

Error 2002 here. I came back from long break ( i left cuz of massive lags dcs etc.) I decided to buy game time since its on full release for a time, and can't play at all. It really feels like i wasted money, and support reply on the issue is really worthless

Yeah, its a problem that the Dev Team will have to address very soon. My problem came up after I switched over to a wifi antenna for my pc rather then a ethernet cord but most other games I have played with the antenna had no problems except with this game. Need answers Squeenix!!!!

It's not the connections or the router settings, etc... It only started to be an issue after this last update (at least recently, can't say for alpha/beta). I'm re-installing the game to see if it is a corrupt install of the update. I doubt it, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Will update with results.

I doubt anything will be done UNLESS the Asian players are affected as well. It seems SE has a history in the past of catering to them, and ignoring all else.

So you just re-installed the game and you managed to get in? I know that the servers were congested and that is why the Error "2002" keeps popping up on alot of players launcher.
