    This is what worked for me.
    Open game in window mode (i personally did reset system settings in launcher options) hit the start button and at moment when your connecting data center your anty-virus/firewall should popup a window asking if u want to allow new process (something must have changed in processes after patch) hit yes, and tahts what worked for me. Dont know why this popup wont appear on full-screen mode and why its appearing at all (i have FFXIV i exceptions folder). Nevertheless u can at least try this, maybe it'll help some1 else

    Indeed. I get attacked with the 2002 error all the time. There saying its congested servers to patch update problems.

    All people in this post please either support mine or make your own bug report on this issue in bug section, as it will be seen by more moderators and support teams of SE..and if not enough comment on a bug they just let it slide by..

    Update: I tried re-installing the game and repatching it, still did not work. Until they add new servers, there will be no chance of me and/or any other players trying to get in.

    The option for "Allow A New Process" never popped up for me. I even reset the options on my firewall back to default to make sure FFXIV wasn't on my list. But if I must wait til they add new servers, I will play other games in the mean time. As if the game itself is too smart to know that I have changed my firewall settings and still gives me the 2002 error lol I posted a problem yesterday in the morning on some info for Error 2002 http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ver-Congestion. Hope this helps out a bit!

    It was the update, not the servers. I uninstalled my copy, then re-installed. After that it worked fine and have not had any issues since. When the world was full, it told me, and then entered me after my turn in queue. I'm playing at the moment in fact.
    *If you've already re-installed, and it still does not work, and no hardware or software errors or issues that you can see are stopping you on your end. I don't know what to tell you. I believe it's the software. I would try to get a different, hopefully newer install file.*

    There has been a number of complaints of server congestion. Hence why the error keeps appearing. Did you use a hard copy or a digital copy from the site? I bought a hard copy from Gamestop when I pre-ordered it awhile back. I havent had an issue till one day I wanted to hop on, and it the error came up. Many other sites are saying the congestion is causing the issue besides people not logging out so they can stay in game. But any answer is a helpful way!

    This is in regards to a bug that apparently is happening to many people in all servers
    Bug: Entering a instances then being kicked before it starts and then unable to log back in because game doesnt log out your character from instance-error 90000
    This is not a problem with connection this is a bug.. for me it started after Jan 21 hotfixes but others started after big patch, I have never had any problems with this game before Jan 21. I see the minion animation bug has been fixed and ty.. but to pay for a service that cannot be played.. sure I can log in do fates, craft, chat, but as soon as I try to enter any instances the dreaded 90000 error.. now I know at least 3 people who have left game for this reason and seen prolly 50 people on my server have the same issue.. I have proof in the form of other players this bug kicks you then keeps you logged into game so you cannot log back in for hours sometimes days. Julius Maximus and Blood Star, Dylan Weaver, Rikku Moon, my whole fc and many others I could list have seen this bug affect me and others. I have played this game with no problems from the beginning this all seemed to start around Jan 21 for me anyways. I have also read in the forums many others stating this problem so I would hope you intend to rectify this problem. I have lost close to 2 weeks of game play, my static coil groups as well as beast tribe points, myth drops, etc that I will never be able to gain back.. its very disheartening to fall behind in game play when im a very active playing spending at least 5 hours a day on this game. I have had to play other MMO'S and games due to this 90000 error and am asking myself whether I should cancel my subscription with SE because to pay for a service that cannot be used seems wrong. I know this is a issue as I have read about it in hotfix problems and forums , Ive even had a moderator say it has already been brought to your attention, but fact is many people are having this problem and even leaving the game.. which I do not want too do as I love the game and have puts so much time into it its not even funny, but I cant play. I had 2 days free of this bug and thought wow its fixed but sigh it is not... please instead of updating and adding content focus on things like these errors people are having, dedicated players who are being turned off game. Like I said I love this game, it an amazing game that ive had no problem with since launch until recent, but there is a limit of errors to how much anyone can tolerate. Thank you

    Thank you Lilium!!!! I have given it such great thought too of leaving the game till they fix the servers and other problems. I find it unfair to those who cant even log in and play while the rest go ahead with the new events and such. I hate to say this but if they dont fix it in next couple months, I will permanently move to Elder Scrolls Online which is releasing in April of this year and stick to it. I understand that FFXIV has alot of problems but I cant waste my time and money on something that is broken and it will take a long time to fix.
