'Heavy' doesn't make the world feel dangerous, it makes it annoying.

So this is something that didn't initially annoy me, but has gotten progressively worse as the weeks go on of doing everyday tasks, particularly beastmen quests. It feels like every mob, particularly higher level, has a potential to inflict heavy on you as you ride by. It feels relatively high to me, honestly. Like 10-20%. You have a couple options when this happens.

    1) If you can jump off your mount and Esuna/Leeches/Tempered Will, you can lose heavy, but you have to sprint until you lose aggro/the mob gets 'leashed'. But there's still a chance the attacking mob can reinflict heavy. Which is truly a head-desk moment.
    2) You jump off the mount, kill the mob, and usually heavy will be close to be gone/be gone. Go on with your way, until the next mob inflicts heavy, anyway.
    3) You ride it out hoping it won't get reset by another attack...but it's, what, 20 seconds? Ugh.

It's been said that these mobs are so easy because they're trash mobs, and why make trash mobs a pain to kill? Well, why make trash mobs annoying as hell to exploration/travel on the same token? I wouldn't be upset if it was a move that normally inflicted heavy that inflicted it, like blizzard or stone...but a random punch? An arrow? Does not compute.

This just doesn't translate to a 'dangerous world'. It translates to a 'world of mild inconvenience.'

Even though it annoys me, I like to think that the arrow hit my character in the leg hence why they are moving so slow. But I definitely agree, the Heavy status ailment makes it annoying to travel through the Beastman strongholds. I'd rather they be dangerous, not just make me sluggish.

Then run into area west of Moonspore Grove with a level 40 and see how inconvenient it is.

I remember when I played on my Holy Priestess in WoW of in infamous "Daze", where you'd turn to run away from a mob, only to have your movement speed cut in half, making it a nuisance to navigate Azeroth without having to stop and fight every mob. If they want to make the world dangerous they could you know, make trash mobs less trashy and not take 5 seconds to kill. Make mobs hit harder and have a variety of status effects, make they like with each other. I don't mean "incredibly tough" but enough for 2-3 mobs to be a threat to a player the same (item) level.

Enemies should not be able to heavy you if your level is equal to or higher than theirs. Level 49s should not be able to heavy a 50.

They should make it where mobs skills are closer to player versions. It's nice getting hit with a Fire and having it inflict Heavy, or getting hit with Stone and it not.

It's like player versions. When hit from exactly behind, you get Heavy. Melee guys just don't have the time (especially if mounted), and usually self-buff before giving chase.

No, its not like player versions. Fire doesnt cause Heavy, and Stone does. (Unless Im really missing something about how skills work, as Ive never had it happen)

If you aggro them they should knock you off and stun you, that way you feel a little more danger and try to actively avoid them instead of riding past them and getting annoyed they managed to get a spell off on your before they de-aggro.
