Lobby Connection Fail Error 2002?

Are the North America servers down? Every time I try to log into game, it fails and shuts the client down.

It's been happening to everyone. Since they relaunched FFXIV, a number of issues came out again and it happens everyday. During beta and 30 days they gave us for free, the errors still have not been fixed. The Devs have been trying to fix the issues but no solid fix helped at all. So, hopefully they can fix the big problems so that players can enjoy a good game play. A number of problems could be the issue: Everyone is trying to log into a full server; Players have not setup ports through their routers and so on and so forth. Im sure eventually they can get rid of problems soon!
