    You are just assuming. If they did put a cap on events and made so the gears you wear adjust themselves stat-wise when you are synced to a lower level cap, they can balance it properly so that they don't become meaningless but that they are right for your level. So your point is totally moot as usual.

    Saying the pool is dumb if just being a sore loser, you can clearly see the majority is in favor of a cap. And there would probably be even more in favor if it would be an optional cap.

    They should give the person who opened the raid the option to set certain kinds of setting such as capped or uncapped, solo or multiplayer, etc...
    Then after finishing with the settings the person can post his raid settings on a board system so people can see who's wants to play what kind of raid and join in which makes partying up a little more easier.
    With this freedom on customization options for raids I think everyone or at least most people will be happy.

    I think OP should change the explanation of 'capped dungeons' if this should be a fair poll.
    I think a lot ppl think with level cap you cant enter the dungeon when you level above this cap. That's not meant by this.
    Let's say the lvl 25 dungeon is 'capped' at 30 this means you can enter this dungeon from lvl 25 - lv 50!
    Your level just gets scaled down to 30 if your level is 31 - 50!

    I know OP you dont want the dungeons to be capped, but please make this a fair poll!

    lol the reason to that rinsui, is because majority of the players didn't have a problem with caped content exept lazy people or people who waited 3years before finally trying to concur it. most people know how awsome it is and for some reason fromt he looks of this op's polls i'm confused ...cause why is se and many mmo's going the easy as crap route all of sudden when clearly most people still want a challenge.

    i'm thinking that devs are so cheap or lazy themselves that they rather ruin content from the get go rather then fix it a few years later when "possible" problems may occur.

    All I got to say is for those who played FF11 and enjoyed the capped promys when they first were introduced and enjoyed the skillful play that were needed to accomplish that then yes. Capped is definitely the way to go. You felt accomplished once you got through those.

    Going into a rank30 raid as a 50... Come on please grow a pair and actually learn how to play. How would anyone feel good about doing that seriously. That's another thing that bothers me about this game is there is way too many rank50 "Noobs"... Not new players, I'm talking about veteran noobs. Why do they always want everything easy. I just don't get it but whatever I guess.

    I know a player who is in my linkshell who has all battle classes to 50... Every single one of them and you know what he is one of the worst players I've ever grouped up with. He is a good person but his skills or there lack-of.. The fact that you can push your way to 50 in all classes and not know how to heal as a THM just blows my mind.

    Level syncing people down to the dungeons optimal rank is worse than actual level capping the dungeon. It's playing backwards. People should be suggesting syncing the mob rank up instead of syncing the player rank down.

    It's the whole surplus arguement all over again and how it's presented, except in this instance you're asking for surplus instead of bonus SP. Dungeons SHOULD be easier the higher rank you are. That's how MMO levelling systems should work. A R50 should NOT have the same difficulty completing a R30 dungeon as a R30. People rank up their characters so they they're stronger and if you rank up and you're still the same strength in the dungeon then you haven't progressed your character at all. Where's the sense of progression if you're always going to be held back to the strength of a R30?

    Give us a dungeon difficulty option the same as leves. People can then see their character progression as they move up the stars without the dungeon being any easier, unless of course they choose to leave it on the lower star difficulty.

    Honestly, having new players do the dungeon at R30 and finding it challenging is good. Having them hit R31 and thinking they're stronger now and it should be slightly easier only to find they're being gimped back down a rank is very demoralizing. It's a very bad precedent to set.

    You know, the majority is in favor of a cap even if the OP is clearly biased and that the wording clearly favors the second option. I think the difference would be even greater if it was worded properly and explained right and maybe even making it an optional cap.

    ok so let me get this Straight. people want a lvl cap for the challenge so other ppl who would like to do it R50 maybe just for the lore would have to have a challenge to? i mean if you want a challenge then use a r30!!! if other people want to do it @r50 is none of your buissness, stop crying for trivial stuff and let people be, want a challenge? ok hey SE please make a dungeon and only DoH can enter, kill mobs with throw items!!.

    getting angry at this because you want other people to have a challenging dungeon is just dumb. get over it and move on..

    the devs said the point of this content was to be challenging. Thats how they are promoting it. it makes no sense to say that and then let one half of the challenging content be easy moded. Its not even about just gear its just bad game design.
