    i think a lot of people already said that nobody will be excluded. Only the level of your entering job will be adjusted temporarily. So you can enjoy the content the way it was meant to be, perhaps hard, challenging but not as "one-shotting-god". Thats why a lot of people want the cap. Its for challenge, not to exclude anyone.

    The NMs on the other hand are, well, i wouldnt even call them content, just mobs with more hp who drop useful stuff.
    This content is something that can be added very fast. A dungeon or an instance takes a long time. Too long to be rushed through imo. And its not a smart move if you wanna make money anytime the future, if every subscription lasts 1 month only since its doesnt take longer then a few days to finish the new stuff added (which took 6 month or longer perhaps).

    Content shoudl have a high replay value, no challenge and easy mode due to high level rushing through instead of getting level-synced to lvl 30 by entering the instance, doesnt help an mmo at all and things get old even faster.

    We have one character for everything. Its not like we have 10 alts we have to rush through the content like in 90% of all other mmos.

    Yes. If anything, at least cap it for reasons of replayability. That way the dev team will at least have more time to create new content before the 1.18 content becomes old and tired.

    Its a very, very simple solution.

    Leave dungeons uncapped. Make mobs scale to the highest level player.. Got a level 50 in the 30 dungeon? Mobs all become ~50. Problem solved. The simplest solution is so often the best.

    To elaborate on this a bit:

    This would also allow people who have their DoM/W jobs past 30 to experience the content of the Lv30 dungeon, while keeping the difficulty at an appropriate level. Loot should remain ~30 regardless of the scale of the mobs, though.

    which is again why i suggested they implement the scaling system that leves have in them

    its already in game so they can adjust the new dungeons to use that system alot easier then coding in something completely new
    and higher level characters can get the challenge out of the dungeon in the process without having their ranks lowered


    and thats with gear aside

    and again, as always, it promotes the ability to choose how you want to do it

    if you give a child the choice to go to school or play all day and eat chocolate... what do you think our society will be like by now? Its exactly the same about mmos.

    if they want a challenge they can have their challenge

    its funny how many are against the caps but everyone mentions being excluded and ive seen and posted a lot of posts explaining that they are NOT excluded but only scaled down in their lvl temporarily. I prefer helping friends or other people if i have a challenge and fun the 60 min it takes instead of rushing through, im bored since no challenge and the new people or the lower people i help are bored since they just see someone AOE the crap out of the mobs and the instance is done and everyone is... thats it?

    Yeah it's useless to try to make them understand Anty, they have being recycling the same argument for 2 days even when presented with decent counterpoints and compromises. Let's just hope the dev sees this thread with the many likes in favor of the caps and the multiple other threads on the same issue and can come up with a decent system that differs from easy online games like WoW and the likes, we want something different, asking for something higher than CoP standards might be too much asking, but something that would please almost everyone at the very least.
