Cap them so:
I can experience the encounter like the developer intended
and
Have two instances to run instead of one
I hope they scale down the rank of whatever higher level class I want to bring there. Im not sure that I want to hold alot of lower level equipment though, so I may wish for them to scale down my items while there as well. Maybe even scale my gear down to below the rewards given from the instance to give incentive to get the new gear, even if just for that dungeon

Id just like to state, that this poll isnt going to change the current dungeons
unless you all really want them delayed another month while they implement a way to cap them off
is that what you want?

I am strongly against a level cap for entry to the instances. I intend to rank up all my DoW & DoM to 50 over time, and I don't want to be punished for this by being excluded from participating in newly introduced content.
Does anyone care that R50's can kill the mid range NM's to get the gear for their other classes? Not at all. Maybe it was annoying for some in the first week when the NM's were camped, but after that it make no difference at all. It is no different with instances. Infact it matters even less as I don't expect they same conditions will apply with camping. The beauty of instances is that how other people complete an instance is of no relevance to anyone other than the people who complete the instance in that manner.

Its a very, very simple solution.
Leave dungeons uncapped. Make mobs scale to the highest level player.. Got a level 50 in the 30 dungeon? Mobs all become ~50. Problem solved. The simplest solution is so often the best.
Heh cant believe it took me this long to remember and realize this. Unless the core changes to character mechanics including the function of the armory is drastic. the only and i mean the only thing that "Capping" would do would be to lower a players base hp/mp and effective stat caps.
Hell man bring on the rank caps. Hell let me cap it to rank 10 because were that bad ass.

i think a lot of people already said that nobody will be excluded. Only the level of your entering job will be adjusted temporarily. So you can enjoy the content the way it was meant to be, perhaps hard, challenging but not as "one-shotting-god". Thats why a lot of people want the cap. Its for challenge, not to exclude anyone.I am strongly against a level cap for entry to the instances. The NMs on the other hand are, well, i wouldnt even call them content, just mobs with more hp who drop useful stuff.
This content is something that can be added very fast. A dungeon or an instance takes a long time. Too long to be rushed through imo. And its not a smart move if you wanna make money anytime the future, if every subscription lasts 1 month only since its doesnt take longer then a few days to finish the new stuff added (which took 6 month or longer perhaps).
Content shoudl have a high replay value, no challenge and easy mode due to high level rushing through instead of getting level-synced to lvl 30 by entering the instance, doesnt help an mmo at all and things get old even faster.
We have one character for everything. Its not like we have 10 alts we have to rush through the content like in 90% of all other mmos.
I would rather have them delayed but well implemented than rushed out to please the few active players.
But either way, even if they implement caps later on with future content be it dungeons or other forms of content, it's still better than never. So talking, polling the mass, is still relevant.
Yes. If anything, at least cap it for reasons of replayability. That way the dev team will at least have more time to create new content before the 1.18 content becomes old and tired.

it just makes it so certain people cant go in at higher ranks
it wont change a damn thing to whats already been done in the dungeon
