Anyone ever come across a cool party finder or private group whether it is for Coil or Primals and it is going really well. No one mentions looting rewards at the beginning or even includes it inside the description of the party finder group. By the time it comes to the end to claim loot rewards, however, the Party leader randomly says one of the following:
"Oh, this is a greed party."
"Oh, that item belongs to player X in the party."
"Please donate that item to player X in the party."
"Oh, you guys cannot need/greed on that item because I need it and I made this party."
"You have to greed if you want that specific item only, no needing."
When you or someone else in your party hits the need button before or after write one of the above statements, however, the party leader/player x in party gets mad at you/other person in party and kicks/blacklists/reports/harasses you.
This happened to my friend last night in her Coil run, and she wasn't too happy about it. She didn't want to click the need button to avoid the awkwardness from others in the party who were just as surprised as she was when the party leader made some last minute loot rule. The party leader made no mention of how the party finder loot works at the beginning (only that it was a newcomers welcome party) and essentially said the last option in the above statements previously mentioned after the boss was dead.
What are your thoughts? Would you normally just need regardless in a case like this? Or would you rather need and be called a ninja by your fellow party members who will likely kick you out and slander your character name for not obeying the party leader's last minute loot rule? Or obey the last minute loot rule like my friend did to avoid awkwardness?
