Error 2002 while getting through data center

Hi,
I had a long break since beta and now I decided to come back, since its full release, and bought a game time card. My game time is getting by while i cant even login to see my characters. Client patched normally I hit teh play button, then start button and choose "Chaos" from box that appears, from this point all i can see is loading screen and error 2002 popping out. Can any1 had a similar problem and know how to fix it? It would be a shame to waste money

For some reason, after last night's patch, I too am unable to log in due to an Error 2002. I've never had this problem before. I don't see anyway to fix it on our end; this is SE's problem it seems.

Ive had that same problem too. A few days before my 30day ended, the Error 2002 kept attacking me. There are different theories, one you have to set up a port through your router (I cant because the one Im connected to belongs to a friend so I cant ask for the user/password). Another is to disable the firewall on your pc. Even then, you will still have problems. One more suggests that there aren't enough servers for people to log in to. But the error was a pain to see everytime I logged in the past, and still continues to do so. I have been on hiatus myself for a while and decided to come back, but I wish they can figure this out before they really loose alot of players. Keep trying and good luck to ya!

I had this problem as well, re-installed. It now works fine.
